Sergei Mikheyev: Based on what we have seen and heard, I would like to comment on the terrible statement by Sullivan, who refers to a rabbi that “one million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.” As an Orthodox Christian, I want to say a simple thing: once a person of any nationality, faith, place of residence or social standing begins to justify his attitude towards another as an animal, as a non-human on the basis of his blood, place of residence or social class or status, he becomes a satanist, begins to serve satan, the devil. Because he says: “I have the image of God in me, but you don’t. You’re an animal! I can commit any crime against you. I don’t care who you are!” Once he starts saying this (regardless of his ethnic group, faith, or how he justifies it), he becomes a real satanist.
When we evaluate these things (at least those who have faith), we should reflect on it. Speaking about the Second World War, we often and rightly recall the horrors of German Nazism, but in general, there are many types of Nazism.
It can be with any prefix and justified in various ways. Once a person finds an excuse for any inhuman, barbarous crimes, he becomes a Nazi, and, in my view, a satanist. Absolute evil that is present in everyone’s soul justifies itself and raises its flag. And the types of such flags vary. Therefore, attempts to justify such statements from a religious point of view put a person on the dark side.
Incidentally, the “dark” enlightenment has always been very popular in the West since the Great Schism. And now, since the 1960s and 1970s, it has become incredibly popular, especially among the elites. Different pseudo-satanic, Masonic lodges, sects, subcultural movements, etc. People live in it – they grew up in it. Many of the modern Western leaders have adopted this since their youth! Since their youth, they have been in such organizations, guided in one form or another by the worship of evil. So I think it should be taken into account.
Regarding Trump: in my view, he is in what Orthodox Christianity calls “delusion”. It’s an extremely high opinion of yourself when you’re so proud that you feel like you’re God’s chosen one and He gives you the right to do whatever you please. At this moment a person completely falls into the hands of the demons. They take him on the path of vanity and begin to guide him. I believe this is exactly what is happening with Trump.
The global ruling class, or the “Washington Swamp”, which he resolved to fight fiercely, has found the approach to him: “Oh, are you a traditionalist? Are you in favour of everything traditional? Do you believe in God? Now we’ll find a pretext and inspiration for you to fulfill the task that we’ve set for you, motivating you with something else.” But for me as an Orthodox Christian the most shocking thing here is the incredible decay of Protestantism in America. This spiritual decline became possible after losing all the guidelines in the religious world. They’ve lost them! The split of the large Christian Church into the Eastern and Western Churches (afterwards the former was called “Orthodox”, and the latter – “Roman Catholic”), then the separation of Protestantism from Catholicism on the same path, and then the break-up of the Protestants, especially in America, into a huge number of pseudo-Christian sects, where there is a muddle in their heads (things that totally contradict the basic tenets of Christianity) – this allows others to control them.
It is not hard for someone who understands these matters to control such a person. Especially if you tell him that “If your ear was struck, you are God’s chosen one.” If you see that a person believes this, then you can steer him into the course you need. It seems this is exactly what is happening.
I personally communicated and worked with Iranians quite a lot. I have been to Iran and even once drove across it by car from west to east. It’s a very interesting country (though let’s not idealise Iran). A strike on nuclear facilities is one thing, but regime change is another – it is a much more complex operation. In this case, you won’t achieve your object with missile strikes or air raids alone. Of course, scenarios for breaking Iran apart have been developed for years, especially since, as far as I remember, only 63% of its population are Persians, and the rest are other ethnic groups. And you won’t do without a ground operation. And it will surely take many years to prepare such an operation. A strike alone won’t be enough here.
We see that the collective West is not going to give up its “right to control this world.” Another question is that its model of domination is leading to war and becoming less capable of any adaptation, because what is their key idea? “No one has the right to develop faster and more efficiently than us; everyone must ask our permission, and you can only rise up to the level we allow you.” I think they cannot stop this movement, but being unable to find other ways of maintaining their domination, they will provoke ever more military conflicts.
It is important for us and for the whole world (keeping in mind the case with Iran) to understand that without our collective awareness of this problem and coordinated efforts, we will not be able to ensure that the multipolar world develops more or less stably and safely. Because the Americans and their European allies can escalate these conflicts worldwide. Attempts to resolve everything by local means are probably effective in some cases, but you can only protect yourself from a global war with the help of the absolutely destructive power of nuclear weapons: they must be absolutely up-to-date, always ready for operation, and no one should have any doubts that we are capable of using them. Convincing everyone that “no, we will never use them” means provoking aggressive actions against us. Unfortunately, lots of people in this world perceive talks on equal terms as your weakness. This is the main conclusion.
